SIGMOD 2013 Call for Papers - Industrial Track
The Industrial Track of SIGMOD 2013 covers innovative commercial data management systems, applications, database implementations, novel applications of database technology, and experience in applying recent research advances to real-world problems. We invite submissions in any of the following example areas and in other areas where data management is important:
- Data Mining and Text Analytics
- Management/Analysis of Financial Data
- Application Areas (Government, Telecommunications, Smart Phones, Retail, ...)
- Big Data
- Cloud Data Services
- Enterprise Data Management
- Systems that Exploit New Hardware Trends
- Web Data Management, Social Network Applications
Submission Guidelines
We accept full papers (up to 12 pages) and extended abstracts (2-4 pages). We encourage submissions on innovative solutions and applications related to commercial or industrial-strength software.
The papers should be prepared using SIGMOD formatting instructions and must be submitted electronically, in pdf format, by November 13, 2013 5pm PST using the conference management tool accessible at: https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/SIGMOD2013/Default.aspx
Submission to the industrial track are not double blind.
